BNG in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties

TOE has been working on biodiversity net gain (BNG) in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire since 2018. We were one of the first in the country to deliver BNG units, and we have a strong track record of managing all stages of BNG with skill, care and integrity.

Meeting your biodiversity net gain obligations can seem daunting. TOE provides a complete off-set site service, so wherever you are in the process of making off-site biodiversity net gain, we can ensure you secure high-quality units which are good value for money. We will:

  • Provide the right unit type, ensuring trading rules are met and in the best location for your development

  • Register sales for planning applications on the National Biodiversity Gain Register

  • Take on the responsibility for the full 30 years.

TOE is a registered charity and non-profit company with regulated financial processes that has been operating in Oxfordshire since 2011. We use any surplus funds we generate from trading BNG units to support communities in Oxfordshire to protect and restore their natural environment.

Why TOE?

TOE has been working on biodiversity net gain (BNG) in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire since 2018. We were one of the first in the country to deliver BNG units, and we have a strong track record of managing all stages of BNG with skill, care and integrity.

We have already delivered units on over 100 hectares of Oxfordshire countryside. No-one understands this new legislation better than us. Unlike most other BNG brokers we are not-for-profit - everything we do benefits the environment in Oxfordshire through our nature dividend.
